Our green bins don't start until April. This garden is in dire need of some plants as the back is all artificial grass with not a flower in sight except for the tubs I bought with me. The front has no plants either and is just stone chips it looks awful

I agree with you, LG, get the house sorted, then you have somewhere to sit and relax after a busy tie in the garden!! The weather will hopefully be better then, although I can't complain about today.

The gardener is due to restart again some time in March, but I just wanted to tidy it up a bit. it has faired very well through the winter with not so may weeds as I usually have. I need to dead head the big hydrangea tomorrow. We have the first green bin emptying next week and it's almost full just from the last week!

Evening YG, if we get him back he will be grounded for a long time :-|. We have had enough stress with the move without him playing silly whatsits.
I see you have been busy in the garden, ours could do with a bit of a tidy but the house must come first. :-D

He is a very naughty cat, LG :-) Sone neighbours across the road from me had two cats and when they moved they kept returning and my next door neighbour was frequently phoning them to fetch one or the other of them. I don't know whether they kept them in after that for a while, but I haven't seen them round here now for a long time.

Evening all, we have been busy shopping for curtain poles etc and then unpacking some more stuff.No sign of the little BU***r of a cat yet. I went round to my old neighbour and left her my phone number in case he turns up there and I have also got the couple who we swapped with to keep an eye out.

I've done some bits and pieces but mainly lots of ironing, I hate that job. I don't do gardening that's hubbies job and we have gardeners to do the heavy stuff cos we can't :-(

Boo, ZZzzz :-) I have been enjoying the lovely sunshine in the garden. Three borders dug over and weeded, 2 more to do tomorrow if it is fine :-) :-)

Bed stripped, washing done, dusted and vacuumed through as well!!

Maz, you all are ship shape again now the visitor have all gone home. It will seem very quiet, but you might be glad of the rest :-D

It has been a lovely day here today, although the wind was a bit nippy. it was lovely out at the front while I was cleaning the windows and the sun was shining on my back. It felt like a proper spring day and the daffodils and snowdrops are out, with the hyacinths pushing their way up :-) A Nice weekend forecast as well, so I might spend some time doing a bit of weeding/pruning :-)

They went to the old house and looked on their way back. I told the new people that he is missing and they said they would look out for him.

I wonder if he is making is way back to his old home, hope he is found safe and sound bless him.

Evening all, we are still trying to find everything. The kitchen is completely finished now and the lounge is getting there as is the bedroom.
ZZzzz the cat has gone walkabout and has been missing for 1 and a half days now. We are worried as it is very cold at nights :-(. My brother in law has put an appeal for info on facebook and he and his wifw were watching out for him when they took their daily walk

There was some sort of report a long time ago where a group of people collected the food and drink that supermarkets would throw away and did a banquet for local councilors I think maybe without telling them that it was stale.

I am breathing ,we have been co ordinating food donations today its amazing how much is unsold in supermarkets
The news is on but its all so grim I am concerned but sometimes wonder if we now get too much
I have found no things left behind yet .

Phew Maz, and breathe.
It is supposed to be easier to book medical appointments etc on line, but it has taken us almost an hour to book one appointment, couldn't do our hospital of choice so have to go to one that is further away and difficult to find a parking space. rant over thanks.

All is hoovered up rubbish out and cat is sniffing around she is cautiously checking the place lol
