We won't need to as we have agreed with the other couple to post it through each other's doors as we are only a few minutes away in the car or about 15 minutes walk away.

Well done, LG :-) It will be a nice change of scenery to go to the Belfry away from all the packing!

Have you remembered to set up a mail divert? It's something people often forget about in the hundreds of other things that have to be done!

Evening all, I spent the morning washing out kitchen cupboards :-P :-D :-D. I also did all the washing and devils work. An easier day tomorrow as am at the belfry in the morning

YG Report 14 Feb 2022 19:46

Evening everyone :-)

Time does disappear too quickly most of the time, except when I'm at work, Maz :-D :-D
Having said that, it doesn't seem to take long to get from Monday to Friday :-D :-D

I have had another easy day, although not as easy as yesterday. I have been pottering, vacuumed through and washed two pillows then knocked them back into shape!! I've been to B&M to stock up on Bold, tumble dry sheets and loo rolls and got a few more wax melts. I swept up the pavement twice today. The birds are going to get their feathers plucked if they don't stop pulling all the dead twigs out that have fallen off the hawthorn. :-D :-D

Now sitting with my feet up watching tv and relaxing before the grind starts again tomorrow morning :-(

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 23:17

Well maybe as he is half siamese and half bengal :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 23:14

I bet he thinks he is pedigree :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 22:55

Ours is not pedigree he is a common moggie :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 22:50

Two of my friends always have ex show cats and they are expensive anyway and they are very careful which cattery they use as some charge more because it is a pedigree. :-0

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 22:28

The bloomin thing has cost us a lot :-| :-| :-|. He had treatment for his eye, 2 lots of jabs and we now have the cost of a chip and a few days at a cattery while the actual move goes on . Mind you he has only had the snip to pay for in the last 10 years so we shouldn't complain ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 22:24

Good plan and peace of mind for you two too.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 22:10

Well hopefully he will be ok as it is ten years since his last one. He is being chipped on Thursday so that he can be traced if he does wander

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 22:09

Ah that's good, at least he is used to moving.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 21:54

:-0 :-0 :-0 I wouldn't want to put him on a lead , he would be a mighty grumpy cat as he hates any form of restraint. He has moved twice with daughter already and she just let him come and go as he pleased and he was fine.

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 21:49

I don't know if cat's do that, but the furniture will be the same so he/she will know it is his/her home, what my friend did with hers was take it out on a lead till to get to know the new area.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 21:39

He seems to be ok with it. His only worry is that the cat might run away when we move :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 21:36

I'm guessing it is the pressure you are under, packing and all that goes with it, how is hubby coping with it all?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Feb 2022 21:32

Not really but the pain in my ear has gone off a bit

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 13 Feb 2022 21:19

YG, it was just what we both needed.
LG are you feeling better now?
