Evening Maz, I know what you mean about those maybe useful things :-D :-D. I usually sort the tech while oh beats mechanical things into submission

We are covered for all eventualities we have an electric fire if the gas goes off, we use the gas oven for heat if the electric goes off. I have a combi microwave if I can't use the gas cooker and also the camping gear which comes in useful if need be. I was a Guider for many years so I have the motto ' Be Prepared ' :-D :-D :-D

We also have camping gas for cooking and boiling water and gas lights so we won't be hungry but we won't have central heating because that needs electric to work.

What is a rest :-S :-D :-D :-D :-D. I have seen a couple of cookers I quite fancy but we will wait until we move to see what connections we have. I know there is gas as I saw a cooker when we viewed but I didn't notice an electric point.
We have a camping cooker for emergencies if the gas goes off which comes in handy

Evening all
I have been in to work ,which flies on a sunday due to cooking lunch and ,helping with bed changes etc .
I had a lovely day inspite of being alone ,i was very lucky with pressies too .
I prefer the pc to my laptop just cos the keyboard is easier to use ,but i love my tablet as i can lounge around with it .
I am blessed with techies ,Froggie mends all my stuff ,my son in law is also in the trade too.The tadpole is quite clever .this saves me a fortune but and the big but, is that you get crates of cables ,hard drives ,etc etc cos it may just be useful !!

Evening everyone :-)

By 'eck, it's cold and blustery out there, rain too on and off!! I braved going out into the garden during a drier spell and raked up a load of leaves from next door's beech hedge that always blow across to my garden :-|

No lazy Sunday, as i have done the bathroom as well :-) :-) Just sitting down now to wait for the roast chicken to finish cooking and watch DOI :-)

LG, I have a duel fuel cooker, with a gas hob and electric oven. I bought it so that I wouldn't be stuck if there was a power cut as I could boil water on the hob for a drink and cook some basic meals I prefer full gas, but the council are trying their best to get rid of it apart from central heating.

ZZzzz Report 5 Feb 2022 23:45

Gosh yes with all the boxes around you, I wouldn't surprised., ours is an office chair and i'm used to my armchair.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Feb 2022 23:31

My seat is ok up there but I would feel very closed in :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 5 Feb 2022 23:22

Oh no, not very comfortable either. When I video chat with my friend in America I'm upstairs on the main computer, not the best seat in the house either.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Feb 2022 22:51

So am I as I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you. I would have had to sit upstairs among all the boxes on the other computer :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 5 Feb 2022 22:49

I'm glad you didn't though LG.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Feb 2022 22:46

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 5 Feb 2022 22:43

Yeah techno stuff, things change or update then you can't find anything so have to get help or throw it up the chimney. :-|

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Feb 2022 22:38

Can't beat jacket potatoes cooked in a bonfire :-D :-D :-D. Dad and I used to do that when we burnt all his wood offcuts . I could sling a pan of baked beans onto and we would be sorted.
We will probably have gas again but we shall see what I fancy tomorrow :-D

Evening LG :-)

Bloomin' technology. it drives you mad sometimes!!

Have you decided whether you are having a duel cooker, gas or electiric? It will probably be a lot cheaper to dig a charcoal pit in the garden and cook on that :-D :-D :-D
