Just looked at house prices in this area £292,000 for a two bedroom one, no garage and can't extend it in any way. |

Ours is ok these days either for retired couples which is what we are or for couples to get on the property ladders, but having said that I wouldn't want to pay the price for it. |

We bought ours 1988 ish but what we weren't told then is that we could have bought a bigger one and still have the council discount, had known that we would have bought a 3 bedroom one. |

When we moved in it was a council house and the permitted number to live here was 6 two bedrooms it would be cramped what with all the clothes and footwear then there is the matter of cupboard space for crockery etc. |

We don't have a big house so it doesn't take long to paint any room, the problem we have is where to put things like furniture, no garage or spare room. :-( we have often said if the council only built 4 houses instead of 6 it would have been better. |
