Impotence which can become permonent
Terrable headaches
Vision problems
Confusion
Unsteadiness
Difficulty in co ordination

I'm also on Doxazozin, been on that for about two years & when i went for a repeat prescription consultation a few months ago it was touch ya toes time & the usual quip " this wont hurt " yeh right !!!, it was then he said i'm putting you on Finasteride,

I would warn any man to refuse it if prescribed by there GP

Could you say what drug this is please??

My husband has been taking Avodart dutasteride for a few months now,with good results.

He says that he hasn't noticed any nasty side effects.

I was put on that & after two months i was having horrible side effects, i chucked em down the **g, doc told me i was talking rubbish & to keep taking them, till i told her to go on google & read about lots of other people having effects like me, opened her eyes i can tell you & she has contacted the manufacturers, iv'e been off them for about two months now but still get side effects some days,

Apparantly so i heard on the radio today there is a feature about prostate problems & a drug used to help, seems it can sometimes cause breast cancer in men, anyone read the item & know what drug it is?
