Went to France yesterday using this offer.
It's so easy from here. Within an hour and a half of leaving our house, we were driving in France.

It was an interesting day. We journeyed to Lille and looked round the old town and the Christmas market.

Because of the Euro / Pound exchange rate, I thought things were quite expensive over there, but it was a pleasant glimpse of a different area.

Have discussed it with OH, but have decided not to go. We used to go a couple of times a year when they regularly had the £25 return trip, to stock up on wine + +, but with the poor exchange rate, don't think we would save much to be worth it.

Now, if they repeat it when the weather is nicer!!!!

Brugges or other parts of Belgium is an easy journey by Tunnel. Nice in the summer especially.

We just went for a day out with our adult daughter who had some days to come off work before the end of the year.
We're a non-smoking household so didn't know prices of tobacco etc., but I did see things like Baileys in the shop on French side of crossing and thought I'd seen it cheaper in supermarkets here.

During the day we stopped for coffee in a small shop.
Cups were small tea cup size and not full... 2 coffees and a hot chocolate were 9 Euros.
