An incident occurred in my kitchen yesterday.

It made me want to scream.

I had been putting the marzipan on the cake and I.....

knocked over the box of icing sugar!

Even our black cat was grey.

He must have thought his owner had lost her marbles.

LOL, poor puss. Your neighbours will think she's got fleas and you've had to cover her in flea powder!

That mess took ages to clear up.

LOL and I thought I was doing so well.

I'm sticking to crochet this afternoon and trying to ignore the pile of ironing.

There's always ironing, no matter how much of it I do.

Awe MrsCratchit, I love my crocheting. Do some most afternoons. Even bought some new wool today for the Christmas Hols.

Hi mrsscratchit,I truly sympathise,I did the same with a 3ib bag of fine flour last week.

On the subject of crocheting, when I was small ( we wore crinolines then) my ever so posh mother used to be devastated, because I used to tell folk that I had been learning to crowshit.I still have difficulty pronouncing it properly.

I'm good at doing it though, crocheting that is,not crowshitting.

Flour! I bet you won't do that twice!

I love crocheting (I shan't be able to say it now, Nina) and as we are expecting our second grandchild next year I have lots I want to make.

Daughter says I'm not allowed to buy anything yet as baby is still only Eddie the Embryo (he's progressed from being Ziggy the Zygot!) but I am allowed to 'ahem' crochet and knit.
