we had xmas card off local labour mp
dont know what
it had photo copied letter in side,

she dont know us,
i dont know her
only ever see her in paper meeting people whose cinema shes opened, or visiting big places,
never do you see um around ordinary folk
hubby said do you mind if i bin it,
i said blimey no , mam would drop something on me head if i put that card up

Call me cynical but there is an election next year. You're supposed to remember you got a Christmas card and think aren't they thoughtful LOL

What a waste of space and money . It probably didn't have the word 'Christmas' on it either in case it 'offends' someone.

cynical or not winter witch id have had your mp down as a bit of a stalker, lol
id have got worried,

i thought it bit of waste of tax payers money too sending card out,

But if you don't make your opinion on this known, it will be accepted as OK.

We had a local election not so long back, and one girl won, with the backing of David Cameron who turned up several times to help her with the campaigning. I can't tell you how many leaflets and notes we had from her, through the letter box and posters and boards outside houses etc. There were several letters in the paper about the amount of paper used. She does seem to be getting a few things done and tho and is being quite active in supporting different groups and ideas but it really bugged us that there was so much stuff sent out.
