OG - I colect £20 notes - any swaps?

Thinking back to my younger days, I used to collect "Man from Uncle" cards - I had loads of Napoleon Solo but not an Illya Kuryakin in sight

LOL Stray & Joy - just reminded me - I also have a cople of boxes of small bears and a box of trolls in the attic - youngest daughter's again!

Can't get into the smallest bedroom at the moment, it's full of her stuff, left here 'for a short while' between Uni and moving.(she left uni over 4 years ago!)
she's meant to be taking it away this weekend, but phones up and asks
'Would it be okay if I left XY &Z in your attic?'
It wouldn't fit into one car anyway!!

I have forbidden myself from collecting any more!
Decided I'm a hoarder rather than a collector.
I have a vast collection of old books.
A collection of tin toys, a collection of naff religious icons - any religion as long as they're tacky. (I will however, accept gifts of tin toys and religious icons) Strangely, when people realise about the icons they have great fun trying to find the tackiest for me whilst on holiday! LOL

Oh - and I seem to have 'acquired' 4 dolls houses (none complete - the one nearest to completion now 'needs' an extension! LOL) and I have more than 2 chests of drawers full of furniture and 'bits' for them!

Forgot - I also collect gargoyles. Have at least half a dozen - maybe 10 in the house and goodness knows how many in the garden - they're in between and under plants, and the smaller ones are constantly being repositioned by the grandchildren.

Looking around, I also have a collection of grotesque puppets - all picked up at jumble sales!

In the attic, I have 2 boxes of the free stuff you used to get with Tetley Tea bags, but have given all the Roal Dahl books to my grand daghter (my children were too old for them)

There is also a collection of the original Sylvanian Families stuff in the attic - most of it well played with, but still in the original boxes. this isn't mine, it belongs to my youngest (aged 26)

Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 9 Dec 2009 20:03

Was listening to LBC radio yesterday and they were on about what people collect.

One bloke phoned up and was having a laugh about his sil who collected sugar packets.

He found it a weird hobby and when he researched it found that Bill Gates is also a collector!

Probably the richest man in the world collects sugar packets!

Do you collect weird things?
