What a good idea Deb......I used to listen to Alistair Cooke's Letter from America which gave an update and an overview of what was happening there.....

Uggers could be the English equivalent for Genes......think of the wide audience he could reach ...... and his thoughts on the different topics.....

David I have been asking for a daily revue of the threads for quite some time now. We foreigners have a tough time trying to figure out what is what on here.

I leave the house at 6.30am and don't return until 2pm.
That would be 2.30pm and 10pm your time.

A lot is missed by us overseas folk.

I think that I'll put up a thread nominating you as the "Voice of GR"

I look forward to the daily review.

That could be helpful; and would have been helpful the other day when I posted on your Christmas film thread thinking it was a serious question, but discovered after posting that it wasn't.

Sorry I didn't get back Uggers.....had to sort out some guy trying to sell me double glazing which I already have.......apparently I need to rip it all out and replace it with the NEW energy saving double glazing and it will SAVE me money........yesssss riiiiiiggggghhhhht.....

Is it always like this now, or is it just a coincidence that when I show my fizzog, something has blown up..... that's why I spend more time on FB and Ancenstry......

Glad to see a lot of familiar names, in their Christmas clothes of course.....:0)

Hiya Polly, back to FB.....

Back to FB:)) Yes, Muffy I did notice - I saw it too late, could have done the whole alphabet in 30 seconds:))

Maggie, it's a bit like that for my step-daughter's daughter - poor kid has us all looking in and now a great grandmother lol

Sue, God forbid she ever came on here:)))))

Its a bit like Coronation Street, I go and do other things for weeks and when I pop in again, its the same old stuff going on.....

.....I am sure some people just thrive on causing upset to others.....
