My 3 are clever!
The cat flap is always open, but I like them in when I go to bed - and they are.
BUT, they go out about 2am, and reappear about 5am, back in their original places, as though they've been there all night!

How do I know? Well the mouse spines, tail and liver on the kitchen floor in the morning (thanks, Mr Miu) were a bit of a clue, as were the nights I've beens woken by George plucking a bird on the stairs at 3am!

We had one that never went outside until we'd made an appointment at the vets to have her done, then she'd disappear and come home pregnant. Twice she did that, I swear she got out through the letterbox lol, we never did find out how she was managing to escape

No-one ever warns you that little fluffy kittens grow into teenagers one day.
