Sorry, but I don't give a flying fig what 'they' say we are allowed and not allowed to say. I continue to call it Christmas, with its Christmas parties, Christmas festivities, Christmas carols, Christmas decorations etc etc ............because..........that's exactly what it is. Christmas.

I am fed up hearing people say things like Happy holidays etc...when just a couple of years ago they happily called out Merry Christmas to each other.......what the heck are we doing?? saying goodbye to Christianity altogether?

I'll get off me soap box now and just go and get a cuppa and a mince pie to munch on - after all, it IS Christmas!!

It really grates on me when we arent allowed to call the christmas lights,,just that,,,,,Incase anyone gets offended,,,Or have a proper nativity play,

If they dont like it,,wont dont they bog off back to their own country,

I remember working with a VERY NICE Jewish girl who naturally celebrated the Jewish Holidays BUT i could never understand how she got Jewish holidays off FREE and took Christian Holidays too like Christmas with no loss of wages cos the firm closed for the holidays .
When "we" wanted some leeway for something we had to forfeit annual holiday entitlement even though theoretically we all had the same same annual holidays??

why dont they have a summer festival do then, lol

our works do was saturday night,
i chose not to go,
cos i hate the snideness on a daily basis, and the political correctness,
that only applys to some members of staff,

aint i misserable farm animal

The company my OH works or is holding their christmas party tonight, However,,,incase it should offend any staff of other religions,etc ,ie-ethnic.....it is no longer called the 'christmas do'....but instead it been re-named,,'THE END OF YEAR FESTIVITIES',,,,,for gods sake..
