Just had a prescription for Amoxillin. With the pills there is only an internet printout explaining what it is etc and that is fine. But it does say in that printout that you should read the information with the tablets, which I don't have. My query is, there is no mention anywhere about avoiding alcohol, I know some antibiotics you have to avoid it and some you don't. Any idea about Amoxyllin as I am out at a function tonight.

Now.... make sure you're home by midnight, or you'll turn into a pumpkin... or maybe it is T who will do that? Not sure, lol

But enjoy!!

And it answered my other question, nowhere did it say whether it should be taken on a full or empty stomach. Thanks anyway.

Yes Ann you can have a drink but they can play havoc with your digestion...ie the dreaded runs...so take a probiotic (sp) pill everyday or one of those milky drinks or a yoghurt like Danone etc.

I already take a probiotic pill every day but not had a problem with antibiotics before.

Karen yes I thought it should be on the packet but I was wary because of the way this lot was made up with no official info leaflet just a print off from the web. I didn't notice until I got home, didn't think to check because I always get my prescription there and have not had a problem.

thanks Mac, hope I don't need to follow in your footsteps.
