The Jeremy Kyle Show has been banned from hospital TV screens amid concerns its violent and shocking scenes were upsetting patients.

One patient, writing on an Internet forum, said: 'I know TV viewing is a very personal thing but on my last visit to Fazakerley we, a large group of mixed aged people, including very elderly people, were treated to an issue on sexual health. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife.'
