My mum has opened a card without looking at the addressee (she has early demetia, so tends to assume everything that comes through her letterbox is hers!!)

Anyway, she is now very upset, as there is a card, with a letter, and a £10 note tucked into it... and she has been on the phone all upset as the letter was addressed to someone else, but with mum's address on it... mum has always been as honest as the day is born, and is devastated that she has opened mail intended for someone else, and that this tenner might be from a pensioner etc..... it is meant as a gift... there is no return address, just this *Hi XXXXXXX*

I have been tasked with trying to unite tenner, card and letter with it's intended recipient, lol!!

The area is Cardiff, S Wales...... anyone at all who could do a look up for me, please??? I'll pm the info, as I don't want to spread it all over the internet!

Yes, Jean has very kindly, and very quickly, found the correct recipient.... and my mum has been across to hand it all over... it was intended for littlies, so all the better!!

Yes, - (?) it was the wrong number on the letter.... also, mum knows the young woman, sort of, but by a different name.... she is known by a *pet* name... this rellie uses her birth name, lol

So all's well that ends well! I do soooooo love a happy ending, lol
