Sending love and a wish for peace - for our darling Jean, and for our world. Thank you Jean for all you have meant to us, thank you for the privilege of calling you 'friend', you define the word.
may God bless and keep you, and give you peace.
love Mary

JEAN. YOU HAVE BEEN AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL. YOU GAVE ME SUPPORT IN YOUR OWN WAY AND IT WAS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, AND I HOPE YOU CAN SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Jean has certainly been a lesson and an example to us all.

Nobody can be offended Fee by your heartfelt wishes, least of all our lovely Jean I am sure. These occasions are always harder for the people left behind when they occur over Christmas (My Dad died Christmas day 2001) but I am sure we all wish for Jean what she wishes for herself, peace.

Many people probably didn't know about the thread on chat so this will serve as a reminder for them.

Nothing to be offended by, Fi and I don't suppose you knew the whole situation. Jean is fairly comfortable and peaceful in the hospice and dozing most of the time but she's pretty with it when she's awake and has very much had enough and wants to be gone - there's a thread on Chat which has been used for updates and positive thoughts and all that .

Omgoodness. I really want what Jean wants. I hope my thoughts have not offended anyone.

My thoughts are with Jean, her family and friends at this time.

Fi, I can only echo what Lynda has said. Jean wants to be at peace and it would be a cruel thing if she lingers.
