Well I was all ready and had phone call this morning to say flight cancelled due to bad weather - they are booked on one for tomorrow - weather permitting. Fingers crossed this one will not be cancelled.
Stay safe and warm everyone
Love Mary xx

Hope all goes to plan this time, Mary. So many disappointed people not able to get where they wanted or needed to be for Christmas - my heart goes out to them. People spend time and money organising trips to see loved ones and then this happens, snow, and yet again the country can't cope!

It was quite unpleasant in Norwich yesterday but I was determined to go and see the Ice Sculptures, so hung on to o.h.'s arm (that hasn't happened for a long time lol) and struggled round the city on some slippery pavements, saw Mr Pastry, a Fencer as the first record of a Fencing club being advertised in Norwich was in 1751, Jimi Hendrix as he played a local cellar club in the 1960s, and other statues. As always it was very good and this time the statues weren't melting away as last year, but they won't be left out in case morons try to smash them up and injure themselves or others with lumps of ice, so they have to be taken away during the evening.

Have a lovely Christmas Mary and hope all the family are there.

Hope you are feeling ok Liz after your fall.

Glad they have got there OK Mary. I don't think any country's airports can cope with snow and ice Liz. And, on the roads, on the news yesterday were pictures of the road chaos in Eastern USA because of snow so it is not only Britain.

Glad your son will be with you over Christmas Mary and hope you have a lovely time.
I am not too bad now, thanks, still tired and very much behind with things, especially as o.h. has to use the car cos the roads to bad to cycle, means I will not get out till later in the week, to do last minute things. I don't fancy walking to and fro bus stops etc and standing about.
