Some of you might recall I said we had a rat eating the peanuts I put out for hedgehogs and that I had kept quiet about him, till o.h. spotted holes going under the shed again. We have had this before, just one rat and poison was put in the rat trap again - keeps being eaten but still there is this one rat!
Sunday am o.h. saw him in daylight sneaking left over peanuts and filmed him with his mini video feature on his camera! Now if he had kept out of the way in daylight, o.h. might not have bothered so much but having him blatantly scurrying around on the patio is a bit daft! Poison in the box again - at least hedgehogs can't get in there so will be safe.

We stopped at the BP garage near Andover with the M&S shop last week.A large rat came across the car park.

Ah but this wasn't just a rat.It was an M&S mangey scavenging rat.

Near us there is a petrol station with an M & S Just Food store attached. Go there at night and the bins at the back of M & S, whcih you can see as you drive off the forecourt, are literally swarming with rats, but as you say these are M & S organic British rats.
