In the past 2 years, I have had to buy 3 digi-boxes.
Every time there's a big upgrade, my box dies!
I've been told it's because it doesn't have enough memory.
Why doesn't it have enough memory? Manufacturers know there are going to be upgrades!
I also have 2 DAB radios. On one the light keeps flashing - which is very annoying, but i can't do anything about it.
The other one is an alarm clock/radio that died when we had a power cut.
I had had it 10 months, and it was plugged into a 'power surge' extension.
Initially the light wouldn't come on - which made it useless as an alarm clock.
Finally got the light working, but the radio doesn't work as an alarm - and I hate the buzzer, so it's now just a clock, and I have my faithful old analogue clock /radio as an alarm!
As has been said - a rip-off!

Lol Marion, tell your husband it isn't, my OH is convinced it's him they're out to annoy. According to him he doesn't watch much but when he does the signal goes so it must be a personal vendetta against him. I swear he thinks they've got a telescope trained on him waiting to pounce

Hi all
You aren´t alone. Here in Menorca we have the same problems. If it´s windy (most days in winter),wet, stormy, cloudy, no reception. Also we lose the connection every time a car or motor bike goes past & when the ferry is loading or unloading in the port, which is just outside our window,
Result? We consider ourselved lucky if we get a full hour without interruption.
Hubby is convinced it is a personal campaign to annoy him!!!

THats true Mcb.

a bad analogue signal is just that, but usually watchable, but a bad Digi signal means virtually no picture at all

Dear All

Hello

I should co-co that it is a big mistake turning the analogue signal off.

It is just an excuse for being conned out of more money.

Sorry, a little grumpy......just thawed out from the unepxted snow!

Best wishes
xx

You'll be fine. Just leave it an hour or so and watch it on your i-player.

Easy-peasy.

A big mistake when they turn analogue tv off, can't watch tv through sky tonight because of the snow, keep loosing signal or picture & sound keeps breaking up, at least i can watch in analogue, when it's turned off nothing !!!!!!!

They say it's called progress,

I don't think so.
