As we say here in Derbyshire. Started with a tickley cough on Friday last and has now developed into this blooming very heavy cold, but I do not think it is flu, as I do bit have body aches. Must have picked it up in hospital, as I was an in patient there for four days last week, as usual.
Just said to OH, we can always have chicken broth on Christmas day. He now thinks he has caught it from me, as he has started sniffling, but just sent him up the street for a bottle of brandy. Well, youv'e got to, aint yer. Got to have yer medicaments in.
Lots of Love and Seasons Greetings to Everybody

Thanks to you all. I don't reckon to have colds. I missed my flu jab this year, because I was in hospital. Even invited to have the swine flu jab. I must catch up with that with my GP in the New Year.
OH now safely home with the precious bottle of Brandy. Praise be.HaHaHa.
Hoping to do me 'fresh stuff' shopping at M.....sons tomorrrow morning, if I have not got a hangover from the Brandy. Everything else is more than ready.
Just heard the weather lad on the local radio, actually, he used to be in Eastenders, and it is not good here in Derbyshire.
Might have to decamp and go eastwards. Hm,Hm, who lives eastwards from here, I wonder.
Yes I know. Budgie Rustler. Well he did, under an assumed title, try and tell me how to cook Brussel Sprouts. Serve him right if I end up on his doorstep on Christmas Day. Ho Ho Ho

Love and Seasons Greeting to all, ( without the sniffles, but all have plenty of Brandy, Lady Rach is offering some with Mince Pies)
