How I wish I could see into your house Dawnie, bet the arrangement looks lovely. Maybe Tiddler will be a florist or something.

You have the right idea for bringing up your family, they value things much more than kids who have everything bought for them but no time with parents.

Have a lovely time, so sorry about the address book, still haven't found it. No doubt it will be staring me in the eye in the New Year

you would be surprised at what i lose Steve gives up with me.
and it not all fun here we do have a lot of moments and i hate not being able to do much with them anynmore and Steve hates not working but doesnt realise how much he does for me and children and being artistic he can do all the cooking and making things with them and they love it.

Clever Tiddler Dawnie. I used to bring in a largish branch from the garden and paint it white and gold then I would use it to display cards.

Dawnie, tell Steve and you hear this too, the things you do together as a family and for each other are the things that count and the things that your children will remember all their lives and tell their children about. They will do the same I hope with their families in years to come from the way you have brought them up. I know you have had lots of struggles and problems and understand how frustrated you feel with your illness, me being similar but luckily for me, my ill health didn't start till my son was a teenager so more independent. When he was young we didn't have a lot of money so had long walks and picnics with his friends and the dog, and days out on the bus to the coast when I stopped using the car to economise! He had lots of secondhand toys when smaller and clothes too, and not a lot of designer stuff till he could buy it himself but he loves charity shops now and realises the value of money more.
You will have to suggest Tiddler makes some decorations for friends as gifts or something or make sweets with Steve, like truffles and fudge. With the artistic flair in your household you can do wonders, maybe even sell some on a stall at school too.

I know you will have a happy time together, what's the old saying, A family that pulls together, stays together (only keep the cat away from Missy lol)

love
Lizxxx
