a regular customer yesterday asked the manageress if we were having a special delivery of bread on christmas eve. I instantly said yes santa is fetching it on his sleigh!!!!!!!!
He left the shop without buying anything. Manageress thought it was hilarious

lmao i like that

we were open in work till 6pm tonight,
i couldnt believe it,
pharmacy,
we dressed as elves,
i get into spirit of it, the kids laugh,

thou customers didnt like it cos some of the ones we deliver too had to wait till today cos of the extreme weather yesterday and our driver got stuck,

There will always be someone or other who won't see the joke or funny side, they should be glad staff converse with customers and not just grunt at them.

we tend to have a 'laugh' with most of our regular customers. We always get a tin of sweets of one of them and this year a bottle of sherry of another.
So there is still some christmas spirit around.

Two years ago ,when the wife was working at the Metro Centre in Gateshead ,there were customers complaining because the centre was closed Christmas day.
Would you believe that more than one customer said ,I want to shop,they wern't pleased when the wife said ,Get a life madam ,shop assistants too are entitled to the day off .
Some people are beyond belief. Fred.

well its been great this year with christmas falling on a friday. Our shop is shut friday saturday and sunday and as I only work 3 days a week and next week has 2 bank holidays I only go to work wednesday!!! yippee
