How true Daffy,

A saying I have is if a grumble is about,

*hey look over your shoulder at that one,*

soon pulls me up.....

Oh Daff............I feel the same way but for very different reasons.

This year has mostly been good to us, but Mum's rapidly failing health is taking it's toll on us at the moment.

However, I am still thankful that we survived what was thrown at us and it has made me stronger..........for that I am really thankful.

I had a wonderful year, strange though it may seem, to those who know me!!

I met some wonderful people, some who are no longer with us in this world, but they each had an impact on my life, and for the better.

I learned about what is truly important, and I learned just how much love and support there is in the world... and on here, too.

I learned about my own strengths, and weaknesses.

I faced my darkest fears... and realised that they weren't so scary after all.

I wouldn't say I want another year like it.... but my life is all the richer for having been through it.

What doesn't break you, makes you stronger.

I wish each of you a wonderful, healthy and peaceful 2010... but more importantly, I hope that each of you will be touched and blessed by the same love that I have been shown.

We are also going to have a strange day tomorrow. My step-dads sister died suddenly last week and the funeral isn't until next week. She was his only blood relative that he had contact with.
I am trying to wrap his present in Christmas paper that isn't too cheerful

2009 hasn't been much of a good year for me either, but hopefully I have laid down the foundations during the year for a better 2010.

Another one here glad to see the back of 2009, just hope the new year is good for us all.

well this year has been truly yuk .far too much to go into but its been yuk.and the loss of jean will stay with so many for a long time .im hoping next year will be a bit kinder for us all.so im wishing you all ....whatever....take care ...and to my mates .big hugs .xxxmwah
