Helen, sorry that you had to go to work. Hope that the shoppers were polite and friendly.
Have a good evening, put your feet up and relax

Won't be shopping till Tuesday. Then it will be mainly a "food" shop, as I am having my brothers, sister and bro-in-law around on Wednesday. We will be having our family get together and Secret Santa day.

Hope to get some Christmas Crackers at a reduced price. Ditto Mince Pies, Nuts etc.

I am just not attracted to the thought on crowded shops nowadays.
Probably turning into a grumpy old woman.

After shopping for Christmas the last few weeks I'm broke! Even if I wasn't I would not want to go shopping today and be pushed and shoved for a 'bargain'. Others are welcome to the shops left over rubbish. Poor sales staff having only one day off at Christmas I feel for them.

Not today, ..that's always a family day for us, but my adult daughters and I will find a day for sales shopping before the New Year.
Elder daughter has a birthday early in January, so we often have a 'Girls' Day' before that for her to choose something at a better price.
I think V.A.T. increases soon too, doesn't it?
My girls will want to avoid all those added extras, so we'll head to Canterbury one day soon.

I'M NOT AND DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT,

I've got to be at work for 6.45am on Saturday as we are opening at 7am. all because Debenhams is opening at 7am. Our store and Debs are going to be the only shops open in the centre that day.

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, I'm not looking forward to it.

I will be sale shopping online, wont be leaving the house until I'm back to work on Sunday. It always amazes me when they show you on the tv on Boxing Day the crowded shopping centres, what's wrong with people? its as if they have cabin fever from having to spend one day inside...these shoppers also include 'men'.... who/where are these men, I dont know of any men who do shopping anytime of the year let alone a time when they can be forgiven for siting about boozing too much.

Dear All

Hello

Admit it, who is in training for the shopping marathon that is called the Boxing Day sales?!

Now don't throw mince pies at me!

Was it me or did the shops seem even more crazy than usual for a Christmas?

Take care all and if you are travelling, take extra care.

Very best wishes to all
xx
