Sorry to harp, but,as you are no doubt all sick of hearing, I had an abusive mother and could never articulate the problem until recently when I lighted upon the condition of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. |

it sounds like a very good idea in theory but in practise it has been done on here before and when people start airing their problems in public thats when the 'nasties' jump in. So I hope your thread is successful in helping some people but just be careful what personal details are printed. |

Me too, I lost a son at 15 minutes of age, and my father 9 months later. I can still well up easily about my son, 35 years later, I miss my Dad terribly esp at christmas time, when he became the child in all of us LOL. having said that it took almost 15 years to chat easily about dad, but the moments are always there. my Mum died at 96 y/o and I miss her too but am much more accepting of the inevitability of her death, than of dad who died too soon, |

What a great idea Elizabeth I agree with what everybody has said, I hope that your threat takes off. After I lost my husband I was never the same it was like losing my right arm, you go through the greaving and come out the other side, but life is never the same again. |

Elizabeth, this is a wonderful idea, sometimes it is easier to thrash out your worries, shall we say anonimously, rather than with strangers. |
