Talking of overhead survielance, I found the new Google map thingy.

When I scanned my house,there,in full glory,was a washing line full of my cecks.

Hi all, Nina again,You are right about the police only having one,it is usually flying above my house, The local paper only had old news(isn't that history?) so still don't have a clue.

As far as I know Sheffield has one, my friend works for Police in Sheffield and she has only ever mentioned one.....................if I remember will ask her to check if the Police had five on the go last night

Morning all,they were not sky lanterns,close enough to see the pilots,and hear them.

Still can't think why they were there,we often have the Police chopper around( It's a rough area) but never more than one.

We had sky lanterns here in Kelty, Fife, Scotland...coming from Kinross from the looks of things..about 20....

When we came through on the M1 yesterday there are signs of road works being in action, but all the workers seemed to have vanished, maybe the choppers are out looking for them?

not a bad trip though just under two hours for the 124 mile from p'boro to wakefield.

I don't know what is going on in Sheffield,but we can see at least 5 choppers from our window.

Perhaps we are being invaded.
