I suppose we say twenty twelve olympics so it would therefore follow on and be twenty ten

A bigger question for me is how are we going to describe this decade?

Wev`e just had the noughties, and twentys, thirtys, fortys etc will be easy.............so what is this one?..... the teenies???

Twenty ten.....we didn't say one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine - we said nineteen ninety nine.....we got side tracked with the year two thousand - it should have been 20 hundred just the same as we had 19 hundred....
