That's a point, elizabeth, what if bills have been underestimated?
It means that when the next bill comes in, extra VAT will be paid on fuel that was used whe VAT was lower.
Some may say it's 'swings & roundabuts' - but I bet more bills will have been underestimated now VAT is rising than were overestimated when it was lower!

Dear All

Hello

My mum had a bill in that was estimated.

It was over £35-00 more than it should have been!

After ringing up and giving the correct meter reading, the bill was quickly reduced.

These days, you need to check everything.

Fuel charges - electricity, gas and petrol STILL haven't come down, despite the fact that the world price has.

We are going to be ripped off by the fuel companys over the vat increase, arund here derv is £107.9 per litre, when the vat goes up it should then be if i'm correct around £110.5.

Bet it isn't though
