LOL morning All - thanks for your input .......

said 14yr old is my niece lol - we're going there primarily to see Depeche Mode cos she wanted to go to a gig - the rest is to cushion the blow in case she doesn't like them much lolol

Anyway - my intent is to keep the main city - no eurodisney. My only defo plan so far is Eiffel Tower which we'll do the first day - get there early. Then across the river to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees............

I wanted to try and fit in a show as well, as she's a dancer, but it's too dear on top of everything else.

Lots of good ideas tho (except the bars lol) so many thanks :O)

McAnne :) saying with a world weary sigh, if it's a boy.... concentrate on where the food is! lol for my own in London it wasn't "ooh look at the art gallery"...it was "when and where are we going to eat ?" ;)

That said, the Eiffel Tower for the engineering, a river trip , Disney land ( take me instead? lol)

xx

2 days umm,and a 14yr old boy.
Disneyland,as long as you are willing to go on the rides also.
Eiffel Tower, but do go to the very top,its worth it.
Versailles is wonderful, but maybe not for a 14 yr old?
Take a walk to Notre Dame, being out there with the people is cheap and interesting, the artist in the streets are very talented. And their pastries.yum.
Have fun!

If said 14 year old is interested in art then the Musee D'Orsey is great. Then if it is a she I expect some of the big fashion stores, Mon Martre, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, A trip on the Seine, the Bateaux run like a bus service. The left bank with all the book stalls etc.

My granddaughter of 14 is into dance - so for us the Can Can would be a must.

Ooh la la.

Dear McAnne's Gahan-Crazy

Hello

It would have to be Disney World to satisfy the youngsters.

I would like to see some of the paintings though, in the galleries.

I suppose I could take Mickey Mouse in with me!

Best wishes
xx

I'd have to sneak in a visit to the British Embassy where my ggggrandparents married in 1832. Other than that It would have to be all the regular tourist sites

Yes, I think they do run all year. I wondered what it would be like to be honest, but found the commentary really good - a lot was really amusing. Hope you have a lovely time :)

How about a boat trip on the Seine. You will see all the main sights in comfort :) Also some of the commentary can be interesting :) That then leaves time for Shopping - what most girls really like to do lol
