Is it too much to expect people to say thank you these days? I only recenly joined GR and have been stunned by the amount of help I have received and in such a short space of time too!
As a way of saying thank you I have tried to help others in my own limited way. My findings may not have always been right, as sometimes others have sent me things that don't match but I would hope that I have always had the courtesy to reply to them thanking for help. Is it too much to ask that others bother to take 30 seconds to click on "reply" and say "thanks but no thanks", or better still "thanks so much - that's just what I was looking for"?

I do agree that saying thank you for any help should be said. I do try to thank anyone who helps me. however i guess that sometimes people my simply be so busy that they do not read the replies until several days have passed.

I will say that David is ever so polite.
There were some very helpful people in answer to his request and between nearly ever post he had said thanks...
