Dermot, I am not sure I agree with that, as I often get woken by o.h. cooking something to take for his work food if he is on late shift, pizza maybe or something else, the smell wafts up cos this is an open plan type house, well the lounge is and if he doesn't close the door from the lounge to the kitchen, nice smells wake me!

I also dont agree with that.
I'm awakened during my sleep every other night, by the smell of gas. Especially, if the Mrs has had a plate full of baked beans....;>))

We also have global warming in Oz....cos one day back in 1949 it was only 40c......... and last week we had 41c
