I have spent the last two days researching for a GR member - and No the member didn't ask me to do anywhere near as much as I have done. I was bored with nothing special to do, so I got stuck in and researched for this person. We arrange via PM that I would document everything and sent it via email. Well I put it all in a Word document and sent it - 4 foolscap pages - to the email address supplied. It has bounced back saying this person does not have an email account with the provider that was supplied. I checked to make sure I hadn't made a typing error in the address, but no, I typed exactly what I was given. I don't know now whether to laugh, cry or tear my hair out because I now have the option of typing it all out again and sending it via PM or just apologising an saying I can't get it to him. AAAggghhhh !!!!

i have had this too but tried agian by copy and pasting their email address in and resending and this time it got through
Perhaps as Rose said they made a mistake typing in their email address I would certainly contact them again through GR and tell them it got bounced back

I have actually contacted them again via PM and told them what has happened and typed out exactly what email address I tried to use and asked them to check if this was correct. I also asked if they had an alternative email address I could use. I'll wait and see what transpires.

I had this with one particular e-mail provider.

I asked the contact to e-mail me and then sent the info as a response - went through with no trouble.

Thanks Jill - I didn't think of that. When he gets back in touch I'll suggest we try that.

Why will you have to type the info again, can you not forward the previous email to the new correct address?

I have done this in the past, made an error with the email and I just find it in my sent box and forward it to the corrected address.

Good luck,
