Thanks girls, my son phoned this morning to ask us to write a list for him to get us whatever we think we may need...... until SATURDAY AT LEAST!
We think we may be okay as the freezer is full and we will survive, but really they reckon it may last for ten days!

I will take a look at the weather forecast too.
Enjoy the *lock up* girls.... a book a cup of coffee and a nice warm bed.
We are so so lucky.
The poor homeless people in a rich country like ours.
How will they manage?

Thanks for that Sylvia, good job we are not intending heading your way this time!!! Added to which we would no doubt get stuck on the top of the Cotswolds on the way. Soooo will stay at home Lol!!

It hasn't started snowing yet in South Bucks (MK is North Bucks), but apparently it is heading down from the North and could be between 6-12 inches of snow overnight.

OH bringing work home in case he can't get out tomorrow.

My grandchildren have come home from school with letters warning parents about possible school closures tomorrow due to a severe weather warning. Heavy snow expected overnight.
Thats from Milton Keynes, Bucks area.
Thought I would let you know in case you need to pop to shops to stock up.
