I didn't get to see it BC, the Liverpool match went into extra time before Reading finally decided to beat them, and he wouldn't let me switch over. grrrr. Serves him right.

Orf to the dentist now....I'll come back toothless, dribbling and unable to talk because I'll be numb. *gulp*

I didn't watch it because it seems the older I get, the less violence I can take! And yet I went to see The Road last week which is the bleakest film you could ever see. Hope you enjoyed it, TW:-) BC XX

I think it is a sort of an acquired taste.

Personally I am interested in India and it's History. I also found it an eye opener, so therefore enjoyed it for many reasons.

My biggest disappointment was the ending when they resorted to Bollywood style dancing etc....Not that there is anything wrong with it...in it's place....But it seemed to detract from the film's journey toward a place in the real film world of the world and not just India.

We had a DVD of it when we were on holiday in Cornwall.
I think, of us 9 adults, 3 managed to stay awake and really enjoyed it!!!

.....I think lunchtime to dinner time continuous eating & drnking got the better of the rest of us (me included - I was sent upstairs as they couldn't hear it above my 'sleep singing')........

I'm really cheesed off now. I've been looking forward to seeing that for weeks, now we're in extra time at Liverpool. I've got the hump now and he knows it.

Was going to............but I want a bath and I'm not in the mood for a film.......

I'll catch it another time if enough people in real life reckon it's any good.

I dont' trust films that win bucket loads of awards because invariably I watch them and think *eh?* lol xx

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 13 Jan 2010 21:41

OH glad someone else is watching it LOL.

20 mins to go and I'll be glued. Liverpool are winning 1-0

oops, no drawing 1-1 *cough*

Now it's going to be extra time, so I'll miss it.

I hope it's worth it, we had words last night, as I'd booked it at Christmas, and it was only last night he declared the TV booked for his footie grrrr. Then I realised I could watch on +1 instead so we're both happy.

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 13 Jan 2010 19:31

I haven't seen it yet, but will be watching tonight on C4+1, because the football is on, and it's Liverpool so Hager booked the TV lol

I watched one of me favourites again last night, The Green Mile, and still cried buckets at the execution. I love that film.

Anyone else watching it tonight?
