JIll, forget that 500 word limit...it's too short anyway :) lol
I don't think anyone minds short or long pieces ...just think of the money I saved yesterday by not having to pay bus fare to the library :))

Ooooo errrrr ummmm well, my second piece is errrr a little err umm longer....just a few words longer. That is...er...two thousand words longer...*cough*

Awww Teresa - is that a gentle nag? LOL

I have had to put my bits of writing away that I was doing. Started one piece and it is just getting longer and longer. I'm pleased with it but whoever set that 500 word limit wants shooting if you ask me!!!

Ditto with the next piece I started.

Anyway, I've put both of those to one side to concentrate on later as they will drop into the family narrative so that's good.

Am going to dig out my poetry note book and finish one or two and hurtle those around. And then I will read everyone else's work. And you've all been really busy!!! I'm so impressed already!

Yes Stray I did! AND I even clambered up onto a chair and dusted the top of the bookshelves - yeuk - they needed it!!

The bookshelves are up on the landing and the tops are way way above my head so you don't see the dust. Reminded me of cleaning the tops of the kitchen cupboards just before Christmas - that was another yuk!
