That's worse than what happened to my mum in the 1940's. She was going to visit her mum when her knicker elastic snapped and, of course, they fell to her ankles! |

Shirley, that's the worst thing I have ever heard, I think I would have never used that route to the bus again or that service either!! |

Oh am sorry too for your embarrassment . I remember my mum telling a story of the 1950,s she worked at the local hospital and had to start at 7am She knew when her bus connection was at the local stop so balanced her leave accordingly. One time she was running a bit late and had to run for the bus unfortunately her knicker elastic and all it contained !! decided to fail and her sanitary towel decided to drop!! she didnt know what to do so decided to ignore what had dropped and just get the bus and continue on her journey. Many moons later this still haunted as an embarrassment |

I have had a stiff knee for a few days so have stuck a heat pad on it. We went out last night and,as I left the car, felt the heat pad coming unstuck. As we walked to the door it loosened more and more until it fell off and slithered out of my trouser leg as we walked in the club. |
