.A special prequel episode of legendary British comedy ‘Only Fools and Horses’ is to be shown later this month.

The programme titled ‘Rock and Chips’ will be shown on the BBC on Sunday January 24, it has been revealed.

I love Only Fools And Horses so I'm going to give it a go......

Apparently Nicholas Lyndhurst plays Freddie The Frog in it.....which will be a bit weird !! xx

Looking forward to it Susan.
Watched an interview, this morning on BBC,with actress Kellie Bright who plays Del's mother,Joan.
John Sullivan's a very good writer and should be a laugh!

Watched "Rock and Chips" - not expecting it to be funny, but it was, the best bit was when Del and Rodney's mother said "she named Rodney after her favourite actor - ROD TAYLOR". I am related to Rod Taylor through the STURT family, another claim to fame, being "related" to Rodney from Only Fools and Horses.

I really enjoyed it !!

The line about his cousin who died in the coffee factory had me howling with laughter........I said it at the same time as he did but it still tickled me.

I thought Nicholas Lyndhurst did a really great job playing Freddy....for the first five minutes I expected someone to call him a plonker but after that he just became him.

I'd love the BBC to make a proper series out of it........I want more !!!xx

Watched it, and though I enjoyed it, found it abit disjointed. I recognised who all the characters turned out to be, except one. He was the well made lad, who spend alot of time with Del Boy, possible name Sid.

That was his friend who moved to Australia ....Del was going to join him in business there but then Rodney couldn't get in because of his criminal record so they stayed behind.......Jumbo I think his name is. xx
