When i dedcided to re do my tree

as one paternal line was incorrect i looked through the scribble and notes id made, unfortunatly my filling system was lots of notes birth certificates and books, was in such a muddle and i realised i had been scribbling for ten years, well im so glad cause reading through it all my ancestor who i felt i coudnt confirm as a ancester is, so many things have come together, so if your stuck go through your old stuff xx |

One of the things I try really hard to do (and don't always succeed) is to type up the notes on "possible relatives". I label these as "strays". Even if I don't type them up I keep them in the back of the relevant family file together. |
