My daughters boyfriends cousin was found dead this morning.Just 18.Dont know the cause of death but he was epilepsy.

Very sad. If the poor boy had a bad fit he may have died of heart failure - not uncommon. I feel very much for his parents.

such tragic news

my partners father past away aged just 29
and his brother past aged 25 due to epilepsy

i myself have four family members who suffer from it

my thoughts are with you all at this time

Annie, my deepest sympathy to your daughter's boyfriend and all the poor lad's family and friends. It must have been a dreadful shock.

My son's friend, a lad I had known since the boys started school together, was found dead after an epileptic fit at his Nan's house, in 2003, he lived with her after her husband died but his Mum, sister and stepdad lived across the road. He came home from a night out and his Nan let him sleep in, sadly when she went to wake him for lunch, he was half out of his bed and had died. He became epileptic through dabbling with drugs, he was not epileptic when at school.

Such a tragedy for all people who die in this way.
