Don't you use the steamer nozzle to froth the milk - which also warms it?

I think semi-skimmed works better by the way.

I believe that coffee should be drunk at blood temperature, but that does nothing to for me, like yours it seems cold, and I like mine hot!!

Hi - OH is the coffee making expert, not me, but expresso coffee isn't (and shouldn't be) boiling hot as this 'burns' the coffee. however it should be warm! Try heating the milk first, as this needs steam heat, then do the coffee and give the milk a final blast.

I have just bought a Cookworks expresso/cappuccino coffee maker. However the first time I tried to make a cappuccino the coffee wasn't very hot, in fact it was cool!

The instructions say to use "fresh cold milk. Skimmed milk gives better results", then says " . . . . whole cold milk at refrigerator temperature".

Now . . . . it's either whole milk or skimmed milk, one or the other ! !

Also I think the next time I attempt a cappuccino I think I'll warm the milk first.

Any advice anyone?
