When I was about 25., way back in 1978. I'd just started at a new job and had been told that "the boss" was in Paris with some woman who wasn't his wife.

A few days later, he came into the office, and, for me, it was love at first sight. I Ieave the rest your imagination.....

I never forgot him. I was married for a further 25 years when back into my life he came, a quarter of a century later .

suffice to say that we met up, and I moved in with him that same day, I got divorced and we married three months later

From there, there followed the happiest days I've ever known.

Life's a bugger - my wonderful Ian died of bowel cancer three years ago. But not before he'd made me happier than I could have ever imagined.

To anyone out there who's wondering "should I or shouldn't I" - take it from me; grasp life in both hands

I would never judge, Sue. Love and happiness are such elusive things that when they come along you grab them.

I was 15, he was 22. He was in the RAF based in Cyprus and had just been to his mother's funeral. I met him because he came round to see his best mate - who was going out with my sister.
Moved in together when he finally managed to get out of the RAF.
I was 17. Parents weren't too happy - but they were in another country!! LOL
13 years, a lot of travelling and two children later we split up.
However, he's still a good friend, but I'm sooo glad I'm no longer with him - or we would split up! He's (just turned 60) into clubbing - I can't stand it!

Youngest doesn't like it either...........
Shame she lives in Brighton - and daddy comes down to stay so he can 'boogie' the night away!!

I know you lot don't like my songs, but i was 9 my first love "Maggie" then i got wise.

Love, love changes everything
Hands and faces, earth and sky
Love, love changes everything
How you live and how you die
Love, can make the summer fly
Or a night seem like a lifetime
Yes love, love changes everything
Now I tremble at your name
Nothing in the world will ever be the same

Love, love changes everything
Days are longer, words mean more
Love, love changes everything
Pain is deeper than before
Love will turn your world around
And that world will last forever
Yes love, love changes everything
Brings you glory, brings you shame
Nothing in the world will ever be the same

Off into the world we go
Planning futures, shaping years
Love (comes in) and suddenly all our wisdom disappears
Love makes fools of everyone
All the rules we made are broken
Yes love, love changes everyone
Live or perish in its flame
Love will never never let you be the same
Love will never never let you be the same

Met him on my first day at my new school at 15 and really fancied him.... didn't see much of him then, but met up again when I was 16 and 2 months and fell hook line and sinker within an hour of sitting in his company, engaged at 16 and 4 months, married at 17, 4 months before my 18th birthday.

Been married 38 years in April... still love him to bits.

Love
