Child friendly Tree chart

Sadly my grandson is in care.
The court have asked for some life story work to be done as part of his assesment.
He has asked his social worker if he could have his family tree back to 1802.
Social worker went pale
but jaw hit floor when my daughter said no problem.
Already done.

However Family Treemaker is not child friendly. It is a list of dates and facts. Does anyone have any ideas for a chart that could include a bit of narrative and pictures and still be interesting for an 8 year old?

I think it is for him to keep but not necessarily research. I will probably keep more distant rellies as direct line but make notes as to sibling names and anything interesting but would want to include his cousins etc.
Family pictures and pictures of where they lived could be good.
Maybe a printed chart I can add to.
But not boring.
And don't ask me why 1802.

Thanks Karen and Rita.
I have a lot to think about as it involves an adoptive family. He already has a life story photo album.
I just had a thought. i wonder if Ron @ genealogy printers has something. Next stop.
