Shall we change the thread to Jane and David's GOOD MORNING BRITAIN :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
Good morning all, Evening Kim,
Where shall I start ??? I lost it BIG TIME last night. It's a wonder the neighbours didn't call the police. I came over in such a state and hollowed at the top of my voice "LEAVE ME ALONE" Ros was only enquiring if I had done too much, getting all the decorations and boxes in from the garage. I HAD, and was in a state, I just lost it. I went off to bed about 9.00 pm and just lay quietly till I settled down. I went off about 11.00 pm. Apart from one trip to the loo, I slept until 9.00 am
No post here yet today, from what's been said I think I know what's coming from Mel. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Tony next door has the results back from the Hospital, He says he has a Ganglion in his lungs, I have never heard of that before. He is saying he has a chest infection. :-( :-( Any comments from the Medical experts ???
This new radiator we had put in the bathroom is the Ladder type. It is to close to the toilet really, but it is the only space it could go. WHO put his arm on it and got a burn on the side of the top of his arm. CLEVER OLD ME. !!!! I rubbed my arm yesterday and the blister broke. I now have a EIGHT INCH piece of plaster on my arm, and it's Bloo#y sore, to say the least.
Poor old Mel, DONKEY DAY. I suppose being out in the "sticks" you can't just pop out for bits when you need them. I hope she doesn't forget OHs CIDER !!!
Ann it must be a difficult time of the year for Solicitors passing papers to and throw. Especially when they make "COCK UPS" and you have to stand around while they put things right. Good job Gordon was on his toes !! Are the young couple desperate to get in, or can they wait till the New Year.??
Trust you are feeling better this morning Jane, Didn't you have new glass's recently. Could they be causing any trouble. ??
David I don't know all the inns and outs about your leg. But surely there must be a claim, if they left a piece of metal in your leg.
Gill I hope the Viewing goes as planned. DON'T mention the WAR :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) ;-)
I got Ruby's address yesterday, so a card will be winging it's was across the sky's later today.
I had a card from an old school friend from Australia It only took FIVE DAYS from posting to arriving here. I call that good service !!
Ros has gone out with Carolyn, so I am going to have a VERY QUITE DAY.
I treaded myself to a new Double Oven last night. The old one has been in since we moved here in '98. The rubber has perished round the glass door (the outside rubber) So now I will have a new toy, and can try more recipes, and know the oven is at the right temperature.
Sorry for going on a bit. !!! see you all later.

Frank, did you ever follow up the anger management course you were talking about? If not it might be helpful, as it must be horrid for you when these attacks happen. Jane, it could well be your glasses/eyes that are causing you to 'wobble' a bit. On the other hand, an ear infection can have the same affect. OH had a blood test today. He's got a suspected polyp, and will have to go to Bath hospital to have it checked out. Apparently, when you've had a major op like he did, they always insist on a blood test before any future hospital appointment. Another vague worry, but there you go, ignoring it, won't make it go away, so the sooner we get going the better.

Hi Liz, Being a miserable old so and so, and thinking I am alright, I didn't go. I have to see the Dr in two weeks so might mention it again then. Sorry to hear about Ian, is it anything to worry about ?? keep us informed please.
I have been expecting a delivery from Amazon all day, and it still hasn't arrived, and I haven't been anywhere and no card has been left.
How did the shopping go Mel, Is it a big town where you have to go, or one of these out of town places.
Carolyn had a hospital appointment at 11.15 this morning. Ros rang me at 2.00 to say they were still there, so Gawd knows what time they got out of there. I bet they were spitting nails !!!
Lamb shanks in mint gravy again tonight. We do like them with roasted mixed vegetables . It will be an easy dinner, as I don't feel like standing doing the veg, and cooking tonight.
I have had a nice quite day with my book and a bit of NAT GEO.
How did the viewing go today Gill. ??

No Frank we don't expect it to be serious, but you can't be complacent, particularly having had cancer once you are all ways on the look out for it again. Thank you for your good wishes. I would have a chat to your GP, if you feel able to as he/she might come up wit a suggestion or two that could be helpful. Shepherds pie for us tonight, so not too prep, and not too much clearing up!

Liz ,the first time I had this trouble with the Zig Zagsand blurring it frightened me so much.I rang the Optician then and from what i described he said it sounded very much like Ocular Migraine and if I had it again to see my GP.My specs are fine as I only had my eyes tested in September. So i have been a good girl and been in tho the surgery and made an appointment.it is on the 16th !!!.I will also mention my hip trouble while I am there. I am sure Ian will be fine and that it is just a Polyp .But I do understand that you will have the worry in the back of your minds that it might be Cancer again.Hopefully he will get an appointment very soon. You won't want it hanging over you with Christmas coming up.
Frank.I think it really might be worth looking at the Anger Management(for Ros's sake if nothing else !!!)I am sure that there will be a way you can learn how to manage your outbursts. It can't be nice for either of you when it happens.
Well last night I said Chris never got to the cinema because of an accident. Some young 19yr old lad was killed when his car was in a collision with a lorry :-( Then an hour ago there was a message on the answerphone from the cinema saying they apologised for the film being cancelled !!!! and that Chris could have a refund or another ticket for which ever film he might like to see plus a drinks voucher. So it seems that even if Chris had managed to get there he wouldn't have even seen he film !!!!.We don't know why the film was cancelled.
Frank. We had a delivery from Amazon at nearly 9pm the other night. So your parcel may still arrive today :-D
Yes I wonder how the viewing went today for Gill. The house would have looked lovely with the Christmas tree upand all decorated . Fitz has got their 2 Xmas trees. The one massive one and a smaller one to go in the corner of their sitting room.He said he has the job of putting up the big one on Friday and getting all the lights on .He is dreading it lol.I can't remember how many sets of lights he said will have to go on.My Sister has just bought her little tree .We won't get ours for a couple of weeks.I think 10 days before Xmas is the right time for us.
My Sister will be back on Sunday :-D..Just for a few hours though as her OH is going to see his daughter (from first marriage) and her son.I think she lives somewhere the other side of Cambridge .So that will be nice to see her again so soon after her visit last week. Easy dinner tonight.2 different kinds of Burgers,Roasted Mediterranean Veg and Potato Wedges.I think Chris said he fancies an egg too.

Evening all
Sorry I've not been on all day, I have a terrible migraine and no matter what pain killers I take they don't seem to be working. It started a few minutes after the viewing and I've still got it, plus I have ear ache and a sore throat, although I think my throat is feeling sore because of my ear, so all in all I'm not a happy bunny :-(
The viewing went well, they were Japanese and offered to take off their shoes, but because they didn't take them off in the hall and only mentioned their shoes because they were about the enter a room with a light carpet, I said it was ok to leave them on, which they were happy to do.
The daughter-in-law, who lives in the next village to us and is English was helping to explain everything I was saying to her Japanese relatives which was nice of her and when I showed them the back garden the DIL said the garden was lovely as they were looking for a large garden. Being a bungalow pleased them to as they live in an apartment in Japan so are used to being on one level, so all in all I think it went well. So I'm just waiting to hear the feedback from the agent, which hopefully will be tomorrow.
I haven't had a chance to read the posts today because my vision isn't very good with the migraine, so I will read them later if I feel a bit better, if not I'll read them tomorrow <3

Survived another shopping spree. Took my scripts into Boots and they said they would try to get them and I could pick them up next week as I said I only go in on a Tuesday but I have forgotten I have the dental appointment that day!!!!!!! Shall have to ring them and let them know.
So you had a good nights sleep Frank and I am sure that made all the difference to your mood today. I too think it is a good idea for you to go to an anger management clinic again for Ros's sake.
Frank I am sorry to say I hav'nt sent you a parcel but if I get time I shall make one for Ros. They are good and she could copy it for the scouts bazaar.
It is still so mild here and tonight oh went out for a ciggy and spied a hog searching around in the grass where I used to feed them. I went out and had a look and it walked away but as I was still looking down the garden I saw one come out of the ark so I have scattered some dried food around the lawn and put some tinned and dried in the ark and sprinkled some tinned as I came back up the garden so they won't go hungry tonight.
Liz hope everything goes ok for Ian with the hosp appointment and it is just a polyp after his op. Fingers crossed for him.
Hope Gill's viewing went off ok today.
Bubble and sqeak with bar b Q sausages and mushrooms and an egg. Did the bubble last night so only have to fry that off. Nice and easy after shopping.

Oh Gill I am sorry you are suffering from a Migraine .Good job you were ok to do the viewing .From what you say it sounded like a positive one.I really expected them not to be Japanese but English people who had been living and working in Japan . Have an early night and don't bother looking at the posts from today.Hopefully by tomorrow morning you will feel better again. <3

We've had that horrible drizzle for most of the day ,although the sun did shine for about half an hour late afternoon .
That's good you have the appointment Jane ,it's best to get things checked out .
Frank, those outbursts must be awful for you ,like the others have said talk to the doctor ,that's what they are there for and i'am sure you'll feel the better for it <3 Hope your parcel has arrived ,i know son has said that he's had parcels arrive late into the evening .
Liz i hope OH soon gets his appointment to put your minds at rest and so you can both enjoy christmas .
Gill i hope you soon feel better , i'am glad the viewing went well today and that you get some good feed back tomorrow .
Fancy the hogs still about in the garden Mel ,i would have thought they would be all tucked up to sleep by now , at least they will have nice full bellies when they do decide to go to sleep. I have taken a photo of the pud and the hog so i'll send it on to you , i haven't seen Lacey yet but when i do i'll get a photo of her holding the little hog and i'll ask her what she's going to call it .
We had our new TV table arrive today ,now we need son to come and sort all the wires out that go to the sky box and television ,if we touch it we'll only mess the wires up ,we don't know what goes where so he'll sort it out for us .

May have mentioned it before but even if I did it's worth repeating. Ellen leaves a dish of cat food out for any cat that comes to our door during the night. There is a regular black and white tom cat she calls Felix. One morning I was up early making myself a cup of tea. While the kettle was boiling I looked out of my kitchen window. The neighbourhood was asleep. The only thing outside that was moving was a fox in my garden. Looked in good condition, a bit on the skinny side, it may have been a lactating bitch. I remember feeling admiration fox and concern for any cat it might attack. I remember about 3 years ago IZZY was found in a bad way needing the vets help. I assumed then it was a dog that had injured the cat, but it may have been a fox?
Hoping Frank and Mel and Gill and Jane and both Anns are well. <3

Glad to hear your viewing went well Gill fingers crossed it has a positive outcome, I hope your migraine has cleared up now.
I went to have my diabetic eye test today at the surgery, it meant having drops so everything was a bit blurry for a while. They let you know the results in about 4 to 6 weeks.
Frank we had an Amazon delivery quite late yesterday evening, one of the items wasn't due until today which was good as I had to go out. Will your new oven arrive in time for Christmas?
Richard had pork chops today, I just had all the veg. as I don't eat most meat.
I hope everyone has a good night's sleep.

Morning all
I'm feeling much better today. Thanks everyone for your good wishes <3 I finally got a decent nights sleep last night, after almost a week of bad nights and feel much better for it, all I need now is for my ear ache to stop and I'll be back to my normal self again. I'm trying not to get to excited about the feedback from the agent as I've been here a few times before and nothing came of it, so best not to build my hopes up to much.
Does anyone know Pat's new address? I don't seem to have it and I'm hoping to do my Christmas cards today, also can someone PM me her surname please? Thanks ;-)
Sorry to hear you're having a bad time of it lately Frank, I think the other's are right, you should go and see your doctor <3
Your hogs are out very late this year Mel, although it has been quite a mild winter so far, with the exception of the other week, so that might explain it.
Hope all goes well for your OH's hospital appointment Liz. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you both.
Hope all goes well at the doctors for you too Jane. Yes, I thought the people yesterday might of been English, but they were Japanese. They did speak quite good English though, although they needed some help off their English relative on a few things, I was so glad she came with them to explain some of the things I was saying. They were very polite and thanked us before leaving, which was nice. I just hope they like this place enough to put in an offer :-) :-) Hopefully we'll get the feedback today :-)
Going to get a cuppa now, see you all later.

Morning Everyone, Evening Kim
Horrible day here, wet and windy. the lady who normally picks me up on a Wednesday for coffee can't make it this morning, so I'll be walking into town, I hope the rain eases off a little,
Nearly finished my christmas shopping only a couple of presents to buy, with OH working at ASDA and not getting much of a wage I have got to cut down on the number of gifts each person gets, Family understands so no problem with that.
Matteo seems to be settling in to nursery, a few tears when arriving . but settle downs within 5 mins or so and enjoys being with the other children, they are practicing for their nativity which is tomorrow, and when Victoria showed up to collect Matteo early yesterday, the teacher just told her to go back home as he was happy enough,

Morning FRIENDS, Evening Kim,
Very blustery clear cold morning out there. I have been to the garage in a T shirt, and felt the wind up my back.
Well all the boxes are stacked up in the conservatory and dining room. The tree is up with most of the baubles and trimmings on, three sets of lights. I will try to get a photo with lights on and off. I just hope I can forward them on !!!
I spoke with the doctor this morning regarding my outbursts, she said it could be down to my Testosterone injections, and also these extra tablets I am taking for the rash on my legs.
I never shouted once last night. and we are on good terms again. I know she thinks she is treading on Egg shells, not knowing as and when the valve will BLOW. !!!!
What comes over me is a ragging heat, I have to rip my cloths off down to u/pants and go and stand by the conservatory door to cool off. Then I might sit the rest of the evening in my u/pants, until I go to bed. The best of it is. The room is not that hot.
Glad you have got an appointment for your eyes Jane, you can't be to careful with them. <3 <3
Mel my sweet, DON'T bother making anything for ROS or I. I just assumed you were making little things for everyone. I will not be upset by not receiving anything HONEST <3 <3 <3 <3
My Amazon parcel arrived while we were having dinner. It's the pump for Ros's tyres that work of the cigarette lighter. Very compact little thing. that now sits in the boot of the car. I must try to remember to check the tyres each weekend.
The whole Road system around here is at a standstill. M 1 accident jcn 16 to 18. A 5 accident M 45 accident Minor roads blocked with all the traffic. To cap it all off Ros has to get to Weedon for her "LINUS". I have told her the way by using the back roads, but she still has to use the A 5 for part of the journey. :-( :-( :-(
Fingers crossed for you Gill, but what are you going to do if they say YES. You haven't anywhere sorted yet, to where you will live. LOL I have a garden shed if that will help :-D :-D :-D
Must have all my tablets with something to eat and drink. Catch you all later.
Jane what a BUMMER for Chris. Not being able to get to Northampton then having the film cancelled.
Just heard on the radio, some drivers have been stuck in their cars for FOUR HOURS on the M 1. !!!!

Morning all and evening KIm,
Was a little sun this morning but it soon went in. Now its just cloudy.
Frank I did say on the thread I was sending to Jane, Ann, Gill and Mandy. I feel guilty now....................................
Went round Bideford yesterday looking for a LARGE pom pom maker. They do one that is 4 and a half inches. The last shop I went in told me "I think I sold the last one this morning" Have heard that before so who she thought she was kidding I don't know. Anyway she says she will order me one so we will wait and see............she has my number.
Think I shall have to brave outside and go and do this Advent Ring for the church and start my wreaths.

Mel, please don't feel guilty, I know your thoughts are with me anyway <3 <3 <3
I bet your fingers will be a bit nippy making the Advent Ring. Most churches are very cold. I know tomorrow when Ros goes to choir practice she will wear and extra layer and a scarf.
I had every intention of getting the lawns cut today, but I feel so rotten I can't be bothered. I keep coming over hot and cold. I have just put a jumper on, which is unusual for me.
I had planned on doing Tender Loin of pork, with an Onion and mushroom sauce and Roasts with Veg. The mushrooms are all sweaty and slimy so they went in the bin. I am now doing Steak and Ale pies (BOUGHT) riced potato's (I have baked a load this morning) Cabbage, Brussels, Parsnips, Carrots and Runner beans. and of course a nice thick gravy.
Ros took her phone with her this morning, but the silly woman hasn't got it turned on, what good is that ??? I was ringing to check she got there alright. lol
Beautiful afternoon here with loads of sunshine, but it's very cold in the wing.
Lights for outside will have to wait, as will the little light tree that sits on the lawn.
