Ann yes I've used volterol on my knees but this time it hasn't helped at all, I'm beginning to wonder if its the reactive arthritis come back again I had it years ago when I got bitten abroad and it set it off in my feet and ankles ,it was so painful and I had to go up a size in my footwear as my feet and ankles were so swollen. |

Back from town it was windy and not that warm when I went so I had on a long sleeved top and light jacket. It has been very cloudy and looked like it would rain but it didn't I just got a pair of crops in Bonmarche, most of the ones I have are old now and some are in a material that makes you hotter rather than cooler. I also got a couple of things for the Christmas drawer. It was very hot on the bus home which was one of the older buses normally used as a college bus. It is 20 degrees now. |

It's odd how the avatars either disappear, but not always all of them and sometimes mine are an elongated shape. |

We have aluminium ladders at the side of the bungalow but don't know what to do with them either AnnG. I think it is three ladders that extend that OH had and brought here with him. I had similar at my old house, chained to a downpipe, but the key was lost so I left them when I moved here. |

Well that is one thing T would never have done Vera, he didn't like heights or ladders after once when in his late 20s he had a work colleadue in the navy who, when locked out of their house the man decided to go up a ladder and get in an open small window. he fell and died from his injuries. The strange thing was, when we moved here Xerox paid a certain amount to allow for resettlement. It covered all sorts including ladders and he bought a huge set of ladders long enough to reach the rook. Only the smallest of the three has ever been reluctantly used by T and the two long ones are still fixed along the side of the house. I have no idea what to do with them. |

Oh Vera I see it is actually still very hot where you are. You have a very intrepid OH! Whatever next? I can see his next birthday present being an abseiling harness! I could imagine you both flying out of the window with you clutching his legs, hopefully with his trousers staying put with the strain. I think I would have tied him to the bed with knotted sheets (Oh that sounds a bit kinky!) |
