Yes I did Jude, and they did so deserve it...cruel cruel disease but hopefully they will have some good times together, and the house was so well done to make it easier for them to be together. I think the DIY SOS team are the best :-D

Daughter has just caught up with her recording.... I warned her it was a 'lots of tissues' episode.
Their openess about their situation was amazing and there was obviously alot of love there.

Do not always watch the programme

But it was brilliant. The family showed so much love.

One of the best ever, my friend's Mum died of this awful disease.

I felt so sorry for him knowing he would have to leave his wife and daughters but what a lovely home they ended up with to help them through their last times together. Let's hope it's as long as possible altho it will be heartbreaking for the family to watch him deteriorate as he will in time.

I hope all the people who helped and were invited to drop in for a cuppa, don't all turn up at once but hope that at least some of them will drop round and help support all the family and be new friends.

It makes me realise just how lucky l am!!

The interview Nick did with the 2 girls was brilliant...when one of them said she missed not eating round the table together, where they would have their family chat!! How many kids would say that nowadays....not many even know about sitting round the table for meals.
Our hearts went out to them all, they were so genuinely overwhelmed, gorgeous gorgeous family:))

I watched it and was incredibly moved by the man's emotion, raw and honest. I was in floods by the end of it, as I often am with this programme, but when he said 'I was falling, and you all caught me' which reduced dozens of be burly builders to blubbering wrecks, They did a really beautiful job of the house too, and it's plain to see they will build some wonderful happy family memories to treasure forever.
