Sixth sense?

How many times in your lives has something happened that you cannot explain?

You ring a number & it is engaged, you put down the phone & it rings, it is the person you were trying to call!
You decide to go somewhere on the spur of the moment & meet someone you have not seen for many years, but had been thinking about recently.
I had planned to go home & put away my shopping before going to put flowers on my family graves, but instead of taking the turning that lead home I took the one that went to the church. When I arrived there I could see that there was another person tending a grave on the other side. After putting the fresh ones into the vases, I walked over towards the compost bin with the dead ones. The other person was close by scraping moss off of an old grave stone; she said that she did not know the grave was there till she started looking into her husband’s family tree. (It was his Great Grandparents) As we talked about our mutual interest I recognized some of her surnames & told her this, especially one which I had been looking at before I went shopping. Her ears pricked up at this, as the person I mentioned was her ‘brick wall’.
While we talked I found out that 40yrs ago she had moved into the house next door to me (a week before I moved away from the village) I had actually shown her how to light her Rayburn stove & bank it up so that it did not go out overnight.
Hunches, coincidental, whatever you use to explain these things, could it be sixth sense?

Sure it's just co-incidence Carol. We forget the thousands of thoughts which don't match up.

Would be lovely though if sixth sense could be a proven reality.

Best wishes Happy days

I am a firm believer in things like this. When me and my husband were planning our wedding we booked it for Aug 1979, a few months passed and out of the blue I had the feeling we had to bring the wedding forward, couldnt even explain it to myself, we re booked it for March '79 and everyone thought we had lost the plot, soon but we got married in March but about two months later my Mum had a heart attack and was admitted to hospita, where she had a stroke, and another heart attack, she passed away in July aged just 50 :-( So if I had kept to my original plans she wouldnt of seen me ge t married .
