meant to say - I was in a department store in Abergavenny when my son rang me - it's very unusual for my mobile to ring - I hate the thing and only use it for emergencies

He says "Where are you Mum"
Me - "In Abergavenny with Jill"
Him - "Well I should be working tonight but I'm off work for a while as had a fatality at work last night" [he's a train driver - high speed Swansea to Paddington]
Me - OMG, did you kill someone?"

suddenly everyone in the store is looking in my direction - gulp %3A-D

Him - "Not me Mum, the guy in front of me but he never knew it had happened, it was me who came across the guy"

I quickly had to explain to all and sundry that my son is not a murderer %3A-S

Because the incident is classed as industrial injury, he has to take time off - as much as he wants really - he says a week should do it
