So busy there Mersey...but got most of the men sorted apart from OH. My daughter had her eye on a handbag in John Lewis...but we found it cheaper online whilst in the shop....so on the way home ordered it on my card....was having trouble with them accepting email...so she tried again and it went through...got home checked my mail and she has bought two!!

Im glad im not going this year to be honest Ann....can do without it, and
like last year although a great time it persisted down with wind and rain
and not nice when you want to stand and talk with a couple of mug full

Yes, I know!!!! Bed!
My curry was lovely! It was a Thai Red Curry, made from a kit you can buy from most supermarkets. They do a green one, too. I've got GP on them, too :-D :-D

We're going to Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fair and Market tomorrow. We went last year and really enjoyed it - it takes over the whole town, and there are tons of stalls and events going on, including a farmer's market with lots of foodie samples - yum! :-D :-D :-D

Now thats going to be a nice day out for you both GiN...I was brought up on markets and love the atmosphere!!! :-D <3 I love the banter with the stall holders, have lots of friends who have them now through Dad....I do miss it now Dad has retired but go and visit them when I can....thats where I know Jay from, Dad has known him for years :-D

I think markets have great atmosphere, too. When I first moved down here 30 years ago, Kings Lynn had a huge one, but it dwindled until now it's gone, sadly. My local town, Downham Market, has a small but thriving one,and it has a good mix of things.
