Yes, I do, Ann - though the marriage certificate isn't much help, apart from telling me his father's name, occupation, and that he was deceased at the time. :-) :-)

I can't send for his birth certificate, as I'm not sure of his age - it seems to change. Has it as 28 in 1884, but the censuses have him as a few years older.

I'm sure of the facts from the time he lived in Consett, but it's very patchy before that.
Except he was born in Flintshire, any time from around 1850. The rest I'm building from what I've found on Ancestry.

I love wandering around graveyards looking for ancestors, but haven't found all that many. I found one of my 4th G.Grandparents - it was broken and left in a corner. I wanted to bring it home, but OH wouldn't let me :-D :-D :-D
