Why not use the address/phone numbers/email addresses etc given on google or their own website to contact their "staff" and ask for the information you want.

Have you tried your Local Authority planning/building/valuation departments?

:-D :-D :-D
I'm sorry, Nuttybongo - I find that funny.

I presume you need the history to add to the website.
Your best bet may be to go to your local records office, and trawl through the newspapers for 1964! :-D

Oh - and planning etc etc.

You need to go to Hull archives to see if and when they got a licence for the yacht club.

The company that bought it has now backed down and says we own the building. Unfortunately for us all planning for they year we needed had been thrown in a skip apparently. Grrrr

I'm guessing you mean the LA paperwork has been ditched without details being filed electronically. Have you tried Planning Committee and Council Minutes? I'd be surprised if they weren't retained.

Has the Land Registry got anything? I'd try it next (after checking Council Minutes) because when house and land sales take place now no deeds are necessary as the Land Registry is supposed to be the authoritative body responsible for retaining all land details now - solicitors use Land Registry info. I'd be surprised if it was not the same for commercial enterprises and deeds.
